PS Plus Games Disappearing From Catalog Likely Due to Glitch

It looks like a number of games have disappeared from the PS Plus Extra, Premium catalog due to an ongoing PS Store glitch. A day ago, we reported that narrative adventure After Us was removed from the catalog without notice. The game later reappeared in the catalog. However, players are now discovering more “missing” games.

Over on Reddit, a player compiled a list of games that mysteriously disappeared from the catalog, including Control: Ultimate Edition and Hohokum. I checked their PS Store pages at the time, and they were indeed “missing.” However, Control has since reappeared while Hohokum has not at the time of this writing.

This leads us to believe that the PS Store is glitching out. After all, the storefront is no stranger to random bugs. While Sony has previously removed games with little to no notice, those cases are few and far between, and the company has not mass removed games without notice (at least not thus far).

Some players have reported that they’ve been able to download some of missing games via their PS Store pages despite them not carrying the PS Plus tags, so we advise going directly to their store pages. If, for some reason, you’re unable to download then simply check back later.
