Ahead of Berserk Volume 42’s publication next week, Amazon is offering big discounts on select books in Dark Horse’s Deluxe Edition project. The late Kentaro Miura’s run helming the brilliant and brutal tale of swords, sorcery, and defying fate is collected across 14 luxurious hardcover books that retail for $50 each. Most of Amazon’s Berserk Deluxe Edition deals drop the prices of these 700-page doorstoppers to $30 or less. Unfortunately, if you’re new to Berserk, the first two Deluxe Editions are closer to $40 each at the moment.
Berserk fans can also save big on all three anime adaptations on Blu-ray: Berserk’s 1997 series, The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition, and the 2016 series.
Berserk Deluxe Edition Manga Deals at Amazon
Berserk is a dark fantasy series that follows Guts, a former mercenary on a quest for revenge. If you’re willing to take the dive, you’ll find a haunting and tragic story for mature audiences, as it holds nothing back and regularly delivers brutal content on every page.
Each elegantly designed hardcover volume is made of durable leatherette and contains three individual volumes reprinted in oversized format. They are shrink-wrapped when purchased in new condition. As mentioned, each Deluxe Edition is roughly 700 pages, so they take up considerable shelf space.
Miura’s final contributions to Berserk were collected in Deluxe Edition No. 14, which contains Volumes 40 and 41 of the manga as well as the Berserk Official Guidebook. Even if you already own paperback editions of these volumes, the guidebook helps contextualize your reading experience with background information and expanded lore. Volume 14 is discounted to $31.50 already, but if you click the coupon box below the price, you’ll only pay $28.35.
Berserk Volume 42 releases in paperback on March 18 and is available to preorder for $13.49 (was $15) at Amazon. It’ll be the first new volume since Miura’s death in 2021. The 192-page paperback comes with a double-sided fold-out of the cover art and continues the Fantasia storyline, the manga’s fifth story arc. Volume 42’s creation was overseen by Miura’s best friend, Koji Mori, and written and illustrated by Miura’s assistants.

If you’d prefer smaller books, the 41 volumes collected in the Deluxe Editions are available in the same compact paperback format as the upcoming Volume 42. Each individual volume is roughly 200 pages and carries a $15 MSRP, though you can often save a few bucks on these at Amazon. We’ve listed the first 15 trade paperbacks below.

Berserk Anime Adaptations on Blu-ray
Berserk has received multiple TV and film adaptations over the years. The 1997 anime series remains the most beloved interpretation of Miura’s story. It released on Blu-ray last year and is available for $41.40 (was $60) at Amazon.
Berserk’s Golden Age Arc, a trilogy of movies that debuted in 2012-13, also arrived on Blu-ray last year. The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition modifies the three movies into a 13-episode television-style arc. It’s on sale for 30% off at Amazon, dropping the price to $48 (was $70).
Lastly, there’s the 2016 adaptation, which has its fans but is generally regarded as a missed opportunity due to subpar animation. Nevertheless, the 2016 series picks up where the Golden Age Arc ends and has some great characters and story threads across its 24-episode arc.
