Another one of upcoming PS Plus Premium classics has apparently been leaked by Taiwan’s rating board website. 2008’s WALL-E, based on the Disney Pixar franchise, is apparently headed to the PS5 and PS4 at an unspecified date.
Two PS Plus Premium classics leaked within a month
This is the second time an upcoming PlayStation classic release has leaked within a month. Earlier in February, Patapon 3 was leaked, which went live today for PS Plus Premium subscribers. Most classics are available for standalone purchase as well, including Patapon 3. We expect WALL-E to be available without a membership too.
Gematsu, who spotted PS5 and PS4 ratings for WALL-E, pointed out that there are two versions of the game: PS2 and PSP. At the moment, we don’t know if the PSP version is being ported or if Sony is using its new and improved PS2 emulator to port that version.
WALL-E also released on the PS3 but we doubt that’s the version being ported, especially because PS3 games require streaming, which isn’t available in a large number of countries.
As for when WALL-E will release, the earliest we can get it is mid March unless Sony has other plans. We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
