Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 And Warzone Season 3 Delayed, Players Have To Wait Until April To Drop Back Into Verdansk

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone’s Season 3 has been delayed, confirmed Activision earlier on Monday.

The highly-anticipated season update will no longer arrive this coming March 20, 2025, and will instead arrive on PS5 and other current-gen platforms this coming April 3, 2025.

What makes this update a particularly special one is that it marks the return of Warzone’s beloved Verdansk map. The news was confirmed with a post on the official X account for Call Of Duty.

“Season 03 is a big moment for Call Of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6,” the post began, “and we’re taking the time to deliver a great experience starting on April 3. More to come following Call Of Duty: Warzone’s 5th anniversary next week…”

So at least we know to expect more concrete updates soon. This delay also means that April 2025 is going to kick-off in a big way for players around the world. Nintendo will have fully showcased its Nintendo Switch 2 direct, and the next day Verdansk will be back.

It’s like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and DOOM: Eternal releasing on the same day again, just a little delayed.
