Forza Horizon 5 will be making its franchise debut on PS5 this coming April 29, 2025, and when it does it won’t just be optimized for PS5. It’ll even be PS5 Pro Enhanced, developer Playground Games announced today.
In a blog post on the Forza website, Playground announced some new content that’ll launch just ahead of the PS5 version’s release, and confirmed that pre-orders are now live for the game on the PlayStation Store.
Playground also went through the graphics modes that will be available on PS5, and it’s here that we got confirmation that Forza Horizon 5 would be taking full advantage of the PS5 Pro.
“Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 features two rendering modes to choose from: Performance (60fps) and Quality (30fps). On PS5 Pro, the Performance mode receives increased visual fidelity, while Quality mode adds ray traced car reflections to Races and Free Roam.”
While Forza Horizon 5 will be out for everyone on PS5 and PS5 Pro on April 29, there’s also a premium edition of the game you can buy that’ll get you into the driver’s seat a little early on April 25, 2025.
