Marvel Rivals has a bunch of characters with tricky Ultimates that can turn the tide of a match on their own. Jeff can swallow an entire team and throw them off a cliff, Moon Knight can place down a giant AOE that will delete you in milliseconds, and characters like Luna Snow can essentially make sure nobody takes damage for a ridiculous amount of time.
Arguably, the trickiest character of them all is the God of tricks himself. Loki’s Ultimate is a little different in that he can target any character on his or the enemy team, turn into them, and then use that corresponding character’s Ultimate. It essentially means he’s only limited to the characters on the field of battle at the time, and as a result, he can pull off some very interesting things.

One of these devilishly tricky tactics was demonstrated by a Reddit user called I-Am-Hashirama, who utilizes Hela and Loki’s team-up combo to resurrect himself after dying. If you’re unaware, Hela is able to resurrect either Thor or Loki, as long as she gets the Final Hit on a character within the respawn window. For example, Loki is killed, Hela immediately headshots an approaching Spider-Man, and Loki is then resurrected.

However, it turns out Loki is actually able to resurrect himself under the right circumstances. In the video that I-Am-Hashirama shared to the Marvel Rivals subreddit, we can see Loki take on the form of Hela and quickly perish, but a delayed explosion that he fired as Hela kills someone almost immediately after he’s killed, resurrecting himself as a result.
It’s an extremely niche situation, it requires you to have a Hela on your team already, and is probably impossible to actually try to do deliberately, but at least you know the option is there. If you die as Loki transformed into Hela, there’s every chance one of your delayed attacks could end up saving your life and the match. The more you know, right?
