Back in October last year, a number of ex-developers from ZA/UM formed two new studios in the form of Longdue Games and Dark Math Games. Earlier in 2024, it was reported that the studio had laid off a quarter of its staff and had cancelled a planned sequel for Disco Elysium.
Longdue Games is currently working on a spiritual successor to Disco Elysium with around 12 former ZA/UM, while Dark Math Games, which is comprised over 20 individuals, is developing a detective RPG by the name of XXX Nightshift.
