PS Store Drops Free Demo for Big Upcoming RPG

PS Store has dropped a new free PS5, PS4 demo for a big upcoming role-playing game that’s out later this week. Players can try out a slice of Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land (yes, that’s the full title), developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo as part of the Atelier franchise‘s Envisioned sub-series.

PS Plus Premium members can stream Atelier Yumia demo directly from PS Store

The demo can be downloaded now, and players can carry over their progress to the full game when it releases on Friday, March 21.

As for what’s included in the demo, players can check out the prologue and then carry on playing through an early main quest, “Pioneering the Ligneus Region.” Gameplay-wise, players will get to experience gathering ingredients on the field, battles, synthesis, and building.

As usual, trophies will not pop in the demo but trophy progress will carry over. PS Plus Premium members need not download Atelier Yumia’s demo as it comes with streaming support.

“In a world where alchemy is deemed ‘taboo,’ the alchemist Yumia yearns for the truth the lies hidden in a ruined continent,” reads an official synopsis. “The time has come for her to take the first step on her grand adventure across the continent.”
