Tim Willits, Chief Creative Officer for Saber Interactive, has assured the company is still beavering away on all previously announced projects, which means that Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake is presumably still in the pipeline.
Here’s the full statement from Willits on X:
Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world. We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share.

The last we heard about the Knights of the Old Republic Remake was back in September, when it was revealed that Saber Interactive had nabbed new investments that would allow it to continue working on multiple titles, the Star Wars title among them.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake has been a long time coming, as the game was originally announced in 2021 with Aspyr Media helming the project. However, in August the following year it was reported that Saber Interactive had taken over the highly anticipated title, although details on the game have been few and far between. Jeff Grubb claimed in November 2023 that it was most likely no longer in development, although Jason Schreier countered this days later by stating it was in fact still in the works.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake is in development for PS5 and PC.
