Sony Brings More PlayStation Classics To PS Portal Cloud Streaming Feature

The PS Portal‘s cloud streaming feature has been expanded by Sony Interactive Entertainment, with a number of Classic Catalog games arriving on the portable device.

PS Plus Premium members have been able to stream games to the PS Portal since November 2024 without requiring a PS5, and the hardware manufacturer has since been fleshing out its lineup to include many PSOne and PSP games. The service initially allowed users to stream around 120 PS5 games and has been expanding ever since.

This feature is only currently available in beta across 30 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

PS Portal owners looking to get in on the cloud streaming beta can have a butcher’s at the instructions featured on the PlayStation Support website. While we’re on the subject of PS Plus Premium, Sony lifted the lid on its March 2025 lineup for PS Plus Extra & Premium yesterday, which includes Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and three classic Armored Core titles.

Back in January 2025, Sony announced that it would be releasing the PS Portal in its Midnight Black range that also includes the DualSense Edge and Pulse Elite wireless headphones and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.
