State Of Play February 2025 Reportedly Had Most Concurrent Viewers Of Any Previous State Of Play


According to a report on Streams Charts, Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast on February 12, 2025 reached a view count of 2.18 million concurrent viewers, which is the highest any previous State of Play presentation has achieved.

The report states that February’s State of Play hit an average viewership of 1.8 million, with the PlayStation channel recording a peak of 656,000 concurrent viewers. However, it notes that the record-breaking figure of 2.18 million came as result of the number of co-streamers that were also showing the event.

In addition, it revealed that the State of Play marked the first time more than 1,000 YouTube and twitch channels co-streamed the event, including Asmongold, xQc, HasanAbi, and Maximillian_DOOD.

State of Play’s February 2025 broadcast revealed a number of new titles including Days Gone Remastered, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, and Housemarque’s new title, Saros. We also got release dates for multiple upcoming titles including Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Hell Is Us.
