Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has officially been revealed, and we even have a release date to look forward to of July 11, 2025 for when it’ll arrive on PS5 and PS4.
After the popular Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake, Activision worked with Iron Galaxy Studios to do 3+4, who you might recognize from having worked with PlayStation on multiple projects like The Last Of Us Part I Remake or the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
There’s a new trailer for the coming collection that it should be noted, doesn’t show a lot of gameplay, since you’ll spot a “Not actual gameplay” warning at the bottom of the video for much of it, but what is being shown all looks to be running in-engine, and isn’t just a CG trailer, so we know that it’ll look great.
You can check out the new trailer for yourself, below.
Fans will definitely appreciate that we’re still getting this 3+4 remake, though the bright excitement of this news can’t get rid of the cloud that hangs over it. Iron Galaxy, by the look of the trailer, seems to have stepped up and done a great job with this collection, but we could’ve had this far sooner if Activision Blizzard hadn’t decided that Vicarious Visions’ fate after being an acclaimed studio for years would be to run support for Blizzard games as Blizzard Albany.
Regardless, at least Tony Hawk fans can all look forward to what will hopefully be the next step towards getting a THUG remaster/remake.
